Thanks ASA. :-) Got to feeling mopey and decided to call up my RD's
office and sweet talk his nurse into having him look at the May lab test
results. He said about the Humira to go-go-go! I like his game better and
trust it more.

Got the Humira this evening and Normie did my shot for me. My RD has
allowed me -- get this-- ELEVEN refills. He seriously wants me on this!

Thanks for the great support: FM'ly and the usual ASA suspects and some
unusual ones, too.<wink> Yeah, Ari...I read ya and know you well; not to
worry. Brusque is stylish. My PCP wouldn't let me see the #'s and his nurse
did broadly hint that a second opinion would be good. I don't have low enuff
numbers to prevent my
starting the Humira according to the RD and that's all that counts, really.

I am only keeping the PCP appt, not the hemotologist one, and my PCP's
gonna have me chewing him out some. B4 I edumacate him about the damage
these danged diseases we have cause.

I'm on Humira, ya'all!! For UCTD, even.  Finally, eh?  Beaucoup thanks
again!

Thanks, everyone! I really am doing better. Better enuff so that I know
it's the weather makin' my OA knees ache and not any disease process. The
swelling of my right foot is almost totally abated and I'm hoping my left
will reduce as I get more Humira going in the coming weeks.

No side effects...that's a blessing for right now, too! YAY!! And hurray
for the genius Rheumys -- mine's worth his weight in platinum.

Relieved Hugs from Rosie

Humira huggings right back at ya!  a big hug for the Humira and a big hug for
you.  I hope it's your miracle.

Thought of you folks in FL today when i finally gave up and turned on the
heat for a while.  It really pained me to do it in June, but 64 indoors just
wasn't doing my body any favors!  We're supposed to be save from frost here
arfter Memorial Day, but it didn't hold this year - we've had two frosty
nights in a row and my tomato and pepper plants are looking much the worse
for it.  We're not in Florida any more!

Perhaps that's a good thing, Nann...for the next few months, anyway. As a
former Floridian you can now be part of the massive wave of migration: of
snowbirds in November. <weg>

Heh, Mike's been telling folks we're part of the "slow trickle" from FL to
norther MI!  LOL  Actually, the slow trickle picked up pace after 2004.  That
4 hurricane season changed the minds of some area snowbirds!
