I wrote this before but it never showed up, at least on my computer so I
will do it again.
I am known as Stinkweed on the net, I am female.  Many have asked me why the
name, it is just a nickname my brother gave me many years ago and it has
kind of stuck.  I am a wife, mother and grandmother to two wonderful
grandsons who are growing up much to fast.
I have Arthritis in my neck, thumbs and some of my fingers, knees and a
shoulder.  I have been lucky in that it only hurts most of the time when
used I have seldom ached constantly.  I have others things wrong with me, I
have FM, Trigeminal pain, have had Cancer and a host of other things one
being migraines which have been plaguing me lately.  Oh I also have Deep
vein thrombosis, which has been my latest serious thing.  I almost died last
fall.  I try to maintain a positive attitude through it all though and
sometimes it is hard but I was told it was important to my recovery from
cancer to maintain a positive attitude.  So that is what I try my best to
do.
I met Harvey in another Arthritis group many years ago and we have
maintained a sort of I know you friendship as I would come and go from the
group, which I do with many groups.  A few names in here are familiar
although I don't know you.  I'm honest and straight forward in my posts
about things I believe in.  I love teasing and having fun and seldom get
mad.  It takes a lot to do that.  Although I am very sensative.  This should
give you an idea of what I am all about and what I am like.  I hope you all
will accept me as hopefully I can be a helpful member of the group, although
I am not on all the medications you are all on for arthritis, I can not help
there as I'm not taking any at the present time, due to the Warfrin, they
are afraid it will make my stomach bleed.  So I am in a kind of limbo with
the Arthritis at the present time.  I have enjoyed reading the posts here
and seeing the friendship you all share.  I hope I can become a part of it.
