It sounds good; however, my spam program was stopping mail from friends, as
well - even people I regularly communicate with.

I've disabled spam control and just delete, before ever opening, anything
that is not familiar.  I'm happier this way.

One can hold the Ctrl key and select, select and select, as many as
necessary and then delete those selected, all at once.  Works for me!
