Well we have decided to go ahead with our trip and will be boarding a plane
tomorrow afternoon at 3Pm they sent me for a ct scan and it showed no sinus
infection, and I have taken 3 days of 40mg of prednisone and it hasn't
helped the allergies, sent me to the dentist, no one can figure out what is
going on, I have constant pressure on my cheek bones, maybe stress and tmj
who knows, the dentist said that the salvia muscles or glands were really
tight, I tried to take afrin and it made my head hurt so bad and my heart
race so not sure that is an option for me or not.
I have a prescrip for more prednisone in case the allergies are bad down
there, which I heard they are.
This prednisone I guess is bad stuff but it sure helped my shoulder, wish I
could figure out why they can't determine what is causing all this pressure
on my face and making my upper teeth hurt.
Oh well, I just pray that we make it thru the 2 and half hour flight,

I'm not sure which muscles those are that the dentist was referring to, but
you might try masaging all around your cheeks and the sides of your neck -
those are the areas that help loosen the muscles when my jaw is really bad.

Heck, treat yourself to a massage on vacation and have the person really work
on the face, neck muscles. It'll be a nice vacation treat and might help you
a lot! I know whenever they worked on my neck at PT or massage, my jaw would
release as well. They told me that the two are interconnected.

Sorry to be so late in responding - had a bunch of things going on
here and didn't check the group. How did everything work out? You've
probably already updated us, but I don't like to get the latest
without reading the ones that I haven't read. Y'all probably got lost
at the the first "read" huh? Hope you are doing better anyhow.
