It sure is nice to find this group. I've been suffering from OA for
close to 20 years now. Since I was in my 30's. I've recently discovered
that I may be able to get arthroscopy to relieve the symptoms and pain.
My name is Sue. I live in North Texas and am looking very much to being
active in this group.

Welcome to ASA..... Aaaah North Texas where the wind never stops but
tornados dooo every now and then. This is the place to come to talk about
OA and RA,,, Lupus and the over 170 different arthritis's that a
Rheumatologist treats well.... This is the place where people find
ways to play through pain and work through pain while knowing that life is
good and to be enjoyed anyway. Just jump in anywhere and stay awhile.

Hi Sue,
Welcome to the group. Good place to find out about all parts of dealing with
arthur as many here have been through it all collectively.
Great group, but we do have our trolls. You'll see them and know to ignore
their rantings.
I assume by arthroscopy you are referring to a knee. Can be ok unless you
are already bone-on-bone. Pretty much a waste of time and money then. Hope
you stick around.
GaryZ (my opinions and others are just that...opinions)

Welcome Sue. I also have OA, have had for years. Have had a hip
replacement and a thumb joint replacement.
Need the other thumb done but am waiting as long as possible as it is on my
right, dominant, hand. Since I live alone, that's going to be hard to deal
with. Hope the arthroscopy will help you.

Welcome. Sorry you had to go so long without anyone there to hold your hand.
OA is just one of the fun toys my body plays with, but we won't go into all
that right now. Just let me say welcome and you can come here anytime!
