Thanks to all of you who have personally emailed me about your story of
getting a proper fit for orthodics. I am about ready to just say good by to
them. I have tried 2 days without them in a good supportive shoe but it will
take time I guess, it has wacked out my back.
Between dealing with the for 2 years and everything else I am just on
overload big time!!!!!
I will be leaving for sunny Palm Springs in 2 weeks from today, wish me luck
on the plane ride that the sinuses don't kill me. I plan on laying around
the pool and palm trees for 10 days!!! Will need to find a good hat or sun
screen cause of the MTX< but at least maybe I will quit thinking about
everything that is going wrong for me.
My poor wonderful husband needs a break!!! He is wonderful always supportive
and I feel like a terrible wife always complaining about what hurts but he
never ever stops his support, he is a keeper for which I am grateful for.
Well thank you to all of you this group is a great help to people, thanks
again

Becky, give your sweet hubby a hug from all us women with arthritis.  He's a
keeper!

May you have a wonderful vacation!

And give your husband a big hug - I have one of those good ones too and it is
so hard to express just how much support like that helps in getting through
the day.

Hi Becky, sorry about the orthos, but I hope you have an AWESOME
vacation!!
Just a note though:  Make sure the sunblock is new and really strong. I
had a very bad reaction this past weekend from the sun, and I was using
30 sunblock every hour. I was in the sun all day and felt ok, but when
I got home I started feeling very ill, tired, and then my entire body
broke out into these big, red bumps-even areas that were not in the
sun.
So BE CAREFUL!!!!!
Have fun!

Thanks for the information, I was just wondering about sun block today, most
of it gives me a rash, but I know with the mtx you are more sun sensitive
and now I am on antibiotics zithromax for a sinus infection so I am sure
that does it too as well as the plaquenil, gee maybe I will get a big hat
and sit in the shade!
Thanks for the well wishes, I sure hope this sinus thing is gone so I can
go, I have never had such a bad one, that it even hurts all your teeth,
hopefully 10 days of meds will help, the doc said I could skip the one week
of mtx also and that might help but will wait and see how I feel on
Saturday.
thanks again

I forget, does the doctor have you on a decongestant now?  You really should
be if you aren't if you are clogged up enough for your teeth to be hurting.
Taht's where my infections usually start, so I know it well.  Must be
something about this spring, I've known several folks here who have had
really nasty upper respiratory infections lately.
