Could we get updates on the members that we have been praying for. I can't remember them all without my list and am too darned tired to go get the list from the LR. ;-) Dawn - How is Marissa doing? Gwen - How is Jason doing? Loujean - How is Nate and family doing? KJ - How is Danielle doing? Adelle, at the moment I forget the name but how is he doing? Anyone else that I forgot can add in here too. Also ASA members that we have been praying for can too. Also, what happened to Denise, she reappeared and then disappeared again! Is everything ok with her? How are YOU and Jim doing? Donna G I haven't hear from firechief lately. I know he was going to SF around Easter and haven't heard from him since then. I soon will have another package to send to him of articles, so I will let him know you are asking. Denise said she emailed you so I hope she answered your question. ;-) As I told Gwen, we are making it just barely. I have been ill again, virus, pink eye and tonsilitis. That has flared the adrenal stuff, and I am flaring from the pain stuff too. But that is life. I am sure I will keep going on. Alex is doing wonderfully, though it is tiring for him to maneuver through the high school hallways. The shear fatigue is making it hard for him to be the same energetic student he once was (though now he isn't using excess energy to distract, so that is a plus, I suppose). But he has continued in the Marching band (wears the quads, 4 drums) and just did a two mile parade. He wears braces on his legs, but does not need crutches. He lost the sight in one eye. His face is very scarred. There are idiots at school who make life harder for him (including the occasional teacher). OTOH - his friends from youth group are with him 100%. They came to the hospital to hang out when he was a ventilator and they continue to be by his side. He went to his first convention this past weekend. First time of dealing with removing and putting on his braces with other people around. Haven't spoken to his mom since he came back, but she anticipated it would be a good. Loujean SJ, Jason seems to be doing well. His mom told me last week that he is "up" most of the time but occasionally has some "down" time. Said he has a lot of pain in neck and shoulders and they were to go to see a pain doctor in Birmingham, AL last week to keep from having to go back to Atlanta. I haven't talked to her since. He does go to work with his dad, but all he can do is work on the computer so I guess that's what he is doing. His dad has a cabinet making business and does real well with it; has jobs in Alabama and in Florida. Adelle, so glad Alex is doing well. Sad that he lost the sight in one eye. I am so glad for Jason. Thanks for the update. I am glad Alex is doing well also Adelle. We are making it Gwen, just barely but making it. His dad has been helping us out. You would think with him having a job we would be ok but not true. All the money is going for gas so we still have to get money from his dad to pay rent and bills.
