It doesn't appear that there is anyone  that would be able to meet me
in Baltimore this summer during my week there. That being the case,
are there any points of interest that I should try to take in while I
am there. My residency is from the 20th to the 27th, but I may be able
to squeeze in an extra couple of days at the end. I have not yet
finalized my flight arrangements.

I lived in Baltimore while going to Law School. The area is filled with lots
of historical stuff, a great art museum, nice aquarium, Fort McHenry...
Dinner at one of the Inner Harbor restaurants, drinks at the Owl Bar in a
grand hotel.

A first place to go might be http://www.ci.baltimore.md.us/visitor/ a
website of the city of Baltimore. I also rue the missed opportunity - I
never went to Annapolis while I lived in Baltimore. The town is supposed to
be lovely and the naval Academy probably offers some interesting tours as
well.

Lots to do!!!!

Thanks Adelle.
I will check into the website. I wish that I would have more time
there and money to see and do all.

The Naval Academy area is beautiful - but my vote goes to downtown Annapolis
and the harbor area. I could (and did) spend all day there marveling at  the
architecture and just plain charm of the city.  If you're into shopping at
all - go to Arundel Mills, just southeast of the city of Baltimore. It's
huge and has wonderful shops and lots of places to sit and watch the people.
If you enjoy medieval plays, you have GOT to take in Medieval Times there at
Arundel Mills.  We will be traveling to Maryland 18-25 May to see a dear
friend who is in the hospital and to be with our kids for a while. We plan
to try to take in a performance if time permits.  Have fun!

Ooooops -Arundel Mills is SouthWEST of Baltimore.  Just head south or west
(I forget what the sign says) on the BW Parkway and watch for the signs.
