Not sure what your looking but I've used these for several years. You

I completely understand a lady feeling this way about these socks. As
a male it is way easier for me to keep it hidden I wear them. I do
find that they will very well do what their designed to do. Good luck
on finding what you may be looking for.

Diane,
I buy mine from http://brightlifedirect.com/ and have been very happy with
them. They have free shipping and their prices are much lower than Healthy
Legs.

Have you tried any of the dance tights.  Hold and stretch by Capezio
[think the number is 14] and Danskin has one similar but mind is blank
for the moment. Looked on line and that one is #212 footed support
performance. Except I wear the plus size version which is a different
number. If you try these remember that  they are made for ballerinas who
are not fluffy so the sizing needs to be studied carefully.
I like them because the waist band doesn't stay the same for the plus
size as it was for the size small. Leggs and store brands always make
that mistake. The designer should be sentenced to wear them forever.
The other thing I like is that they are practically indestructible. I
have to tug to get them on [something that I couldn't do with these
hands with REAL support stockings] and they just don't run. I have
actually had them wear out before they run. Wore them day and night
after my knee replacement because they fit me unlike that white
compression stocking.
Anyway, it is the only kind of stocking in the house now so if I wear
stockings, that is what I wear.

duckie, those tights are a good idea for the cooler months and i'll
file it away. but for the summer, i want something knee high. my ankles
are very swollen even with the stockings, but without them they are
frightening and i've been known to scare little children with them.
:-)  so the stockings, i'm afraid, are a necessity.
