Do you know why he was taken off the mtx? Were there liver
complications?
I did not know what Felty's syndrome was, so did some research and
found that it is a complication of RA that manifests itself by an
enlarged spleen and a low wbc count. Because it may have no obvious
symptoms, it may often be missed. Treatment is for the RA, not
specifically for the Felty's.
Your poor family, with both parents and you having RA. Thankfully
there are much better medications available now.

Yes they thought dad had cancer before the Felty's with diagnosed, Thanks
for the web site will check it out.
And dad was taken off the mtx as the RD thought it was not working.
