Hi All,

Glad for ya all to see me again!
Had a very good trip. Weather was perfect! First day in the 90's, but after
that it cooled to the high 70's and low 80's for the duration. Got my
noggin' burned some and will have some new skin covering the old brain soon.
Finished two books laying by the pool mornings while Mike slept in. I swear
kids are sleeping machines.
Golf was fantastic and worth every penny spent. Legs are still sore from
walking the Disney parks the last day.
Had to have an ice pack on the plane to put on my back. Seems all that
walking caused me some lumbar swelling. My right leg was jumpy sitting in
the airline seat and the hydrocodone didn't help as it usually does. The ice
pack did the trick though. That was really the only incident I had for the
trip though. I thought the golf would give me more back trouble, but that
didn't happen.
Fishing on Wed, though windy, was very productive. Caught 25 bass in 4
hours. Biggest was 4.5 lbs. Was a huge fish to me, but only moderate for
down there. Can't imagine how big a 10 pounder would look! Mike reeled in
most of them as he had two poles to work. Was good for him as he's the
fisher guy in the family.
I like visiting the Orlando area. Wouldn't want to live there, but do like
to visit. There is so much to do. Disney has become a very small part of our
trips these days. Still have tickets left over for Dis and this is going on
3 yrs now. Guess we'll have to do it again next year to try to use them up!
Next mini-trip is July 1 and 2 to Wichita for a bowling camp for Mike.
Supposed to be one of the best in the country. Am going to boldly try to
drive down there. Should be about a 12 hr drive from here and will spread it
over 2 days. Back doesn't tolerate sitting that much any more, but I don't
see any other alternatives for us. Will take many breaks on the way to get
out and stretch some.
Mike rolled a 279 in his bowling league 2 weeks ago. Don't remember if I
mentioned that before or not. Left a 7 pin in the 6th frame. Not bad for a
15 yr old. They lost 1st place in the league on the last week of bowling. We
were gone, but had pre-bowled it. 2nd is very good and they have something
to shoot for next year.
Dads still doing ok with his heart stuff. Have to go to Milwaukee on May 6
for their 60th wedding anniversary!
Dentist appt. today for cleaning (way over due) and back to work tomorrow.
Couple more years 'till Mike is out of school and then I'm hoping to pull
the plug and explore another line of work. Getting tired of constantly
trying to keep up in a field that changes by the hour.

Well......don't think I'll make it as a golf pro anymore, maybe selling
batteries at Radio Shack!
