Had knee replacement in both knees seven years ago. For several years I have
had off-and-on nerve-like pain in the front of the thigh above my left knee.
The orthopedist said the pain was from my back.  Is this possible?

I suppose it could be, Sheila.  My Mother has hip pain, but the doctor told
her it originates from her lower back (which probably makes more sense since
they're close together).  But.....on the other hand I had a TKR 5 years ago,
and along with Fibromyalgia, I still experience pain and tenderness in the
soft tissues around the knee.  Nanny
