Hi, I just had a blood test done and my CPK enzymes came back extremely
high.  I have been having severe burning of my skin which gives me this
goose bump feeling.  My muscles constantly twitch and I feel weak and
tired all the time.

If anyone has any imput on this, it would be appreciated.  I don't
understand it myself and no Dr. has been able to help me.

Thanks,
Gomer

Are you on one of the cholesterol drugs, such as Lipitor?

Well, there are different CPK enzymes.  Has your doctor determined which one
is elevated?  It may be that the muscle twitching is aggravating your muscles
and that is causing the release of the enzymes, but some enzymes indicate
heart trouble, so it needs too be pinned down.

What else is your doctor doing to investigate the cause of the muscle
twitching and the skin sensitivity?  Have you had a neurological evaluation
to rule out a central nervous system disorder as the cause?
