Question about referred pain

I have OA and RA and am on methotrexate, plaquenil and lodine.  I know when
my shoulders start flaring the pain goes into the muscles between the
shoulders and elbows.  My question is, when the hip pain flares is it
possible for the pain to appear in the ovary area?  I don't have ovaries,
but if I did that's where the pain would be.  It seems to be connected to
the hip pain but it's possible that it's from the back going to the front.
Just wondering if anyone with arthritis in the hip has this kind of pain
along with it.

TIA!

As far as I know, it is absolutely possible.  I'm reminded of
appendicitis when people feel a pain on the left side of the abdomen
and the appendix is on the other side.  Could it also be that when the
pain comes in those areas, the adjacent areas get tense?
