Plastic surgeon said my arm is OK after the iodine infiltration.  In
fact he said
this common for people with RA and Cancer who have small hard to locate
veins.

Better  news!!!!!   My Non Hodgkin's lymphoma is still in remission.
Another
CT scan scheduled for the end of June and then will do Rituxan in July.
 Change
in plans,  it was original scheduled for April.  My next IV for the scan
will be
done at the Cancer Center.

Bad News!!!  My Sister was bitten on the upper outer thigh by a brown
Recluse spider.  She is off work going on the second week and will finish
a two week round of Bactrum the middle of this week.  Happened at work,
so it was turned over to Workmen's Comp.  They have visiting nurse
coming in to check on it and change the dressing.

In the meantime,  her "diabetic" Husband has a large wound on his foot
created
when they did some surgery on it.  After two trips to the hospital they
sent him home last night
with a wheel chair, a walker, IV stand and a wound vacuum machine.  He will
also have a visiting nurse coming in to check on his wound and assist
where necessary.

They are devastated.  This is the first really major thing to hit them.
 My Sister has
never had a situation where he has been in this serious a condition
before.  To
top it off she has here own problem to deal with.  She has been told to
be very careful
so an infection does not spread between them.

Good news for you, Don, for which we're grateful.  But so sorry about your
sister and her husband.  Do pray that both will heal quickly and have no
infection moving between the two of them.

Hi Don,,,,  Your sister and her husband will need your good advice on how to
deal with these problems that could become very serious.  I guess, they are
already very serious.   Their life has really changed and must be lived from
now on with no mistakes and full understanding of what they are dealing
with.
