Mom down with arthritic pain

My mother who is 45 years old is suffering from acute arthritic pain .
Her day starts off with "uff". She is unable to carry on with her daily
work . All the time down with pain . Someone told that regular walking
will help her out . She goes for walk also but it didnot help her much
. she was such an active lady but due to her arthritic pain she is not
able to do much work . Its very painful to see her suffer .I have come
to this group for help .

Hi Perry,
I think your mom needs to see a doctor and find out what is causing the
pain.
They can then figure out how to treat it. There are many different kinds of
arthritis
and each gets treated a bit differently.

Well said and the thing to do. A Rheumatologist would give you the best
answers.

I think it is the knee joint which is troubling your mother so much . I
heard that synvisc drug help to treat this kind of pain . why don't you
try for your mother .Synvisc is injected into the knee joints for the
treatment of the pain .i is the best method to treat knee pain without
going for surgery .it lubricates the joints . That is why it is called

Synvisc is a safe treatment for arthritis of keen . Though it is not a
permanenet solution but it can improve the symptoms and delay the need
for surgical treatment .Treatment with synvisc is safe and easy with
only few side effects .

It is important for her to get a proper diagnosis. Some arthritis is
from wear and tear and other forms are caused by the immune system not
working properly. There are effective forms for both types but you
need to know which type of arthritis it is. Synvisc can be effective
but if her immune system is causing the trouble it will require
different drugs. In the US the Doctors who specialize in this
disorder are called Rheumatologists, if you are from India I am not
sure what the specialty is called. You might do a google search.
There are some amazing drugs available for the immune system type of
arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis there are also other types), I hope
she finds a good Dr.
