Sorry Diane,
It is the MS. It is the spasticity that does it. Just been to the doctor
and he mentioned it - also the reason I can't wear shoes.
Welcome to our world!

(((((((dianew and kelly)))))) that doesn't sound like fun. but, on the
positive side (if you will permit and/or forgive a little of my goofy
humor)---asa now has two barefoot babes!<smile>

Diane,
My RA made some of my toes curl under. The problem with some
of my toes was solved by having them fused. The fusion's did not
hamper my ability to walk or maintain my proper balance.
I had one of my unfused toes curl under so badly I was walking on the tip
of my toe and it developed into a constant sore. I finally had the end
joint of
the toe removed. Both myself and my Doc were afraid of it becoming
infected.
My toenails also grow rapidly and curl down covering the ends of my toes.
I have a wonderful wife who keeps them trimmed back for me. I am
unable to reach down and trim them by myself.
Sorry you have had to add this problem to your plate.
