Not much to say I'm afraid.

We're still not sure what's going on with Amanda.  Her latest MRI showed a
torn labrum in her right shoulder (something fixable at least).  It also
showed focal muscle atrophy bilaterally in her hips and pelvis.  That is
consistent with both muscular dystrophy and myositis.  But there was no
evidence of inflammation.  So she will be having a muscle biopsy when she
returns from her band trip to Orlando next week.

Otherwise, we're all just holding on!

Best of luck with the MRI, hopefully it will provide more definitive
information
for the Doctors to determine what is going on.

Will they proceed with surgery to repair her shoulder at this time?

Sending love and prayers.

Just hoping against hope - could the muscle atrophy be coming from a change
in habits to being more sedentary?
