No financial interest but I'm amazed about how Scalpicin has helped my
psoriasis (elbows, scalp, shin, ear).  I burned a lot the first few days but
in one wk. my skin looks better than it has in years.

On my shelf of Rx's that didn't work is Hytone 2 1/2%, Beta-Val, Elidel,
Valisone, Ultravale, and Dovonex.

Hope someone else gets relief.  I got it OTC at WalMart.  Jan O'

yeah, that salicylic acid is great for clearing away all the scales.  I used
it some on my scalp to clear the scales enough to actually get the coal tar
down into the skin.  It has been a relief however to have my Ps CLEAR with
the DMARDs for my PA.

For some reason, MTX and Remicade have not done much for my psoriasis.  Jan

well, shoot.  That just ain't fair!   Mtx alone did little for mine - just
made it more readily responsive to topicals.  But when we added Arava to the
mtx -- bingo!  clear AND my joints improved some.  It's been the same with
Enbrel instead of Arava.  Sure sorry mtx and remicade didn't do the same for
you.  My coverage wasn't extensive but was in really troublesome places.  I
thought it wasn't that much of a hassle, but have been surprised at what a
relief and joy it is to be clear.
