No one ever said life was fair.

Ok, on top of my Mom and Gail, a friend's mom just died from kidney cancer.
Please remember the Sack family in prayers for peace and comfort.

Our best friends, a couple whose daughter and my daughter have been best
friends since preschool, each have/had mothers with cancer. Donna's Mom has
been dealing with metastatic breast cancer, after a break of 12 years. Bob's
Mom had kidney cancer, diagnosed about 9 months ago.

Last Friday, it became clear that treatment wasn't working, and the family
was asked what arrangements were preferred for long term care. Saturday, the
whole family got together to try and decide between a nursing home or home
care with hospice (they decided the latter), but the decision turned out to
be moot. Their mom took a very sudden turn and passed away that evening, a
few hours after the meeting

Cancer sucks.

No, life isn't fair.  And, cancer does suck big time!!

I will add the Sack family to my prayer list, and you and your family
as well.

Prayers for peace for all of you.

Oh Adelle,

Prayers are surely coming that way for the Sack family.

Still have all others in my prayers too.

Talk about a full plate, oh my.

I hope good things come to all their lives.

Adele, I'm sorry.  Yes, cancer sucks.  And it seems every week our prayer
list at church has more and more cancer patients on it.  I've had two first
cousins, one paternal and one maternal, die with cancer, both in low middle
age.  Will be praying for all your family and friends..

Thanks!

The funeral was today. Seems Myra, like our dear SJ used to send cards to
tons of people, buying and preparing them at the beginning of the month. She
touched a lot of people.
So SJ - you are bringing love to a lot of people!
