Me, neither!  The only one I can remember is "All I Want for Christmas
is My Two Front Teeth" in the fall of 1949.  I had knocked out a
couple of teeth that fall and my brother drove me nuts singing it!

wasn't into Prince much, but I always liked that song.

You're making me feel old though - that song was hitting the charts when I
was moving to North Carolina a number of years ago.....

Well, I didn't look deep enough the frst time. Apparently a lot of
folks liked Prince's song cause they kept it # 1 till Aug. 6 when it
was replaced by "Ghostbusters". >g<

Gary, I would say to ya  'you are only as old as you feel'  but if you
feel as beat up as I do you really wouldn't want to think about what
age that gets you to.

lol, I hear ya jonnie.
I've had more than one doc tell me parts of me were way older than my age.
Perhaps a bit too much exuberance in my more youthful days!
But to not quote Hunter Thompson, we should be arriving at the grave spent,
used up, shouting Geronimo! Hmmmmm, makes me wonder if I haven't already
died!!
Well, better living through modern medicine helps me some.
You must feel a tad better though as your back posting which by the way
pleases
many people here including me.

Ain't it the truth.  I didn't need a shower tonight for cleanliness, but had
to have one just to help my bod sleep better.  Anything I can do to knock
down the pain, ease muscle tension and relax in general.  Should we start the
"Half as young as we feel" club?

Never heard of that one but of course who hasn't heard of Eddie Fisher!
My Mom always told me I was named after a very popular song called "My

Found it:

1934 ... "I'll String Along with You" by Ted Fio Rito

but I prefer : "Stormy Weather" by Leo Reisman featuring Harold Arlen
or maybe: "Tuxedo Junction" by Glenn Miller
There are a lot more as well.
My wfe's birthday: "Over the Rainbow" by Glenn Miller
I never knew he recorded that.
