The results of our Life Line Screening tests are here. The DH got a clean
slate across the board. Hooray! For me, I have "mild to moderate carotid
artery plaque buildup not affecting blood flow velocities." The abdominal
aortic aneurysm screening and the peripheral arterial disease screening were
both negative. Not bad. The "mild to moderate" plaque buildup will probably
be taken care of with the exercises I have started doing. So all in all a
pretty good report on both of us. I see my doctor tomorrow and will take her
these results to put in our medical records.

One thing the exercises is doing, however, is causing my legs to pop more
varicose veins....and they HURT! After all these years of inactivity, my
body is resisting change. Too bad, change is coming anyway. It's really
weird because my leg will hurt horribly in a pinpoint spot for several days
and then I'll wake up with another varicose vein and the pain is gone. I'll
look like a walking road map before all this is over. LOL

Very Good News....Hopefully the excercise pain will level out and all will
be well...
Hugs Cindy

Maybe you should try a  mild support stocking while you are exercising
to give those veins a little added support. That happens to my husband
just from being on his feet all day long. I"m glad to hear you are
commited to the exercising!  Good for you!  DianeW

Good for Bob and kind of good for you. It could have been worse. I hope you
do well with it. Sorry to hear about the varicose vein things. I hope you
have better luck with no more of them. You take care and know you are being
thought of.
