has anybody read diane chamberlain's latest book, "the secret life of cee
cee wilkes"? did you notice that the main character has RA? that surprised
me, somehow, but really added to the characters interactions. also, what
did you think of the plot and characters? this one has to be her best novel
yet, y'think?

I haven't read that one - but look forward to it.
Is there a particular order that would be recommended to read?
I just finished Her Mother's Shadow, first one of hers I have read -
can't wait to get more. Wow, Diane, they are great. The characters
are people you can identify with right from the beginning and there's
that marvelous sneaky little feeling that this dude ain't right.

loujean,
most of my books don't need to be read in order. first chapters of all
of them are on my website, so you can see which ones grab your fancy.
the one you read HER MOTHER'S SHADOW, is actually the third of a
trilogy, though. :-) the first two are KEEPER OF THE LIGHT and KISS
RIVER. i'm so glad you enjoyed the third one, even though you now know
how everyone ends up!

hmmmm, our library doesn't have that one - only one copy in the whole
northland system. I may have to buy it, read it, donate it to the library!

I just recently bought three books from Amazon.com for my sister who has
become a Diane Chamberlain addict after reading the books I have of Diane's!
She can't get enough of her books. Could you write faster Diane? We went to
the nearest Barnes & Noble 50 miles away, and they had sold out of her new
book the same day they were put on the shelf! So I went to Amazon.com, and
got a real deal on three of Diane's books. They were running a promotion for
signing up for their credit card. I received $30.00 off my first order, and
got the super saver discount for buying two of her books in combo, Secret
life of Cee Cee Wilkes and Bay at midnight, and the third one, Keeper of the
light, was an original hard cover, 1st edition, used copy in mint condition
for $.01 from a lady in in Kirkland Washington. My total was $.04 for my
entire order! Diane, these will keep her happy for awhile, but then she's
gonna need another fix. She is collecting them now, and there are still a
few we haven't found.

I'm number 2 on the list at my local library as soon as it gets
processed in!
Diane,
Is there a "best read in" order? I couldn't put the first one down.
You are good.

hi loujean,
only three should be read in order (Keeper of the Light, Kiss River,
and Her Mother's Shadow). the rest can be read in any order.

She's coming up tomorrow, I'll be sure and tell her. Keeper was not only a
find, it was a steal at 1 cent!
