He said him and Mary are dancing 2 - 4 nights a week.

He has had 6 doses of Enbrel and no effect yet.

They were off to Palm Springs I believe last weekend.

He says that Mary is thinking of retiring but not sure yet.

He said to say hi to everyone on ASA and thank them for the cards at
Christmas.

Any responses I will print out and send to him.

Harv, Janice, Nann,

I am passing  your posts on to firechief.

Nann, that was funny sharing the ad campaigns that firechiefs jokes brought
to mind for you. Those were cute and I am sending a copy of your post to
firechief, I am sure he will get a laugh out of it.

Janice,
I am still suffering as usual. Nothing odd about that. I am flaring and
asthma, allergies stuff. I have trouble getting my drs in the past to give
me pred and I am an asthmatic. So I think they all do that at times. I know
some on ASA are getting treated with small doses of it. I need small doses
of it to treat the addisons also but they don't seem to want to treat it
either. I am so glad to see the ones that are being treated that their drs
are not afraid to give it to them. Hope you are doing better and that once
spring gets here, hopefully that will be the end of flaring for us all.

I put out a bunch of information on it.  It was originally approved
for lymphoma so it is probably one of the best studied new arthritis
drugs because of the number of RA/Lymphoma patients.  Do a search on
the newsgroup and a bunch of articles should come up. -- mz

Thanks all for proving that my memory is not improving.   It might be
something good for Lupus and RA.   I think you post this the first time
Mary.
sorry

I am pretty sure that when I saw my RD earlier this he said he was
treating one of his patients with rituxan - (in the UK)

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May 2005 and my Chemo
protocol was R-Chop, the R was Rituxan.  My new Rd intended to start me
on Rituxan as soon as it was approved, but my Cancer Doc beat him to it.
I start Rituxan in April, an infusion every week of the month which
takes anywhere from 4 to 6 hours each time.  I will do it again the same
way in October.

I am currently in remission and will test that again with a CT scan at
the end of March.  If not still in remission then I would restart R-Chop
most likely.

People with RA have a 30% chance of getting Lymphoma, so Rituxan is a
great help in that respect.  I do not feel as well now as I
did when I was receiving the Rituxan as part of my chemo.
