Hi!

Thank you so much for your note. It was very touching. Doug and I really
appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Well, your good wishes helped things happen - Doug will be starting his new
job on the 27th. He's really looking forward to the new situation - much
larger company, more software people (who he said were very friendly and
easy to talk with), more focused job (support only instead of the pressures
of development and support), etc....

Haven't seen him this happy in a while.

Thanks!

Adelle,

I saw your other post about this and I am just so happy. I know how it is
for the man without a job. It does something to them, that really tears them
down. So I am so happy for you and your family.

The ASA prayer machine did it again. ;-)

This is so great to hear.

Now, SJ, how bout an update on YOUR husband and you?!!!

How is Jim doing and what is Jim doing these days?   I always feel so
bad that the two of you have to struggle through everything so much!

Hugs,

Donna G

Thanks for asking Donna.

Jim is suffering badly since the beginning of this job with arthritis in the
knees. His knees do not like having to keep climbing those ladders.

The job stinks. The boss doesn't pay him all his hours, and doesn't always
pay on time. We still have to borrow money to keep living here. Thought we
wouldn't have to do that anymore. Oh well such is life. At least we still
have a place to live and food in our tummies. That is more than some have.

We keep passing that flu that got us down so bad at New Years eve. We have
had it like three times already. The guys at work keep giving it back to Jim
and then I get it right away.

I did have a few good days that I could actually get up and do a few things.
When I was able to dust two rooms, I was so thrilled. That is bad isn't it.
;-)

How are you doing sweetie. How are your lungs treating you. How is
everything else. I hope you are doing better.
