I've been hibernating lately, but have found the cure for stress... yup... I have a new granddaughter. No wimp, either... 9 lbs 7 oz. On my way to Calgary tomorrow to introduce her to her favorite grandma. Haven't had much chance to pop in, but am thinking about you all often. Proud daddy? Nawww.... Janet N. Thanks for all your warm wishes. This was, indeed, the pregnancy that caused my DIL so much sickness and hospitalization. The ASA prayer machine was in fine form once again... she was barely sick at all in her third trimester, which was a very unexpected bonus! Grandchildren are such an amazing gift. Maybe it seems even more special because all the good stuff is there, but without the stress of wondering how one is going to get through raising them and how they are going to turn out. Love them, spoil them, send them home.... ah, the perfect relationship. Kaitlyn is a beautiful, healthy little girl. She does seem to have a bit of hip dysplasia, but at this point we are not too concerned. Big sister Sarah is as proud as can be. Life is good. Janet N. Our sixth granddaughter & 12th grand child isn't due until the 2nd or 3rd week of March.
