superbowl sunday and it's the first one in more than 30 years i will be
spending with just my television set. of all the games, it's the one i've
been waiting for the most, the longest. with the touting going--the
steelers have the most talented players, while the seahawks have the best
coaching, it should be an interesting game. sooo, how 'bout, just for fun,
if asa lines up behind its favorite picks for this game?

heehee, try finding it in northern MI! when i made gumbo, i went with roux
rather than file.
last fall i wanted to make this wonderful vegan almond salad dressing after i
got the recipe from a high school friend at our band reunion. couldn't get
half the ingredients up here and we went going to detroit or annarbor for
anything - finally bought them over christmas in g'ville and imported them,
lol.

Gotta brag, now that the game is over. Big Ben - Steelers - is one of our
hometown boys!! He's only 23, but has had the Super Bowl *dream* for a long
time. Goes to show what talent and determination can do. Nanny

I know it's the day after but Bob and I were cheering on the Steelers last
night. Only because his sister is Seahawks fan. When the Redskins aren't
playing, I don't care who wins. :-D

well, i was hurting too much from the weather change yesterday to be online,
but i swear i was for the Steelers going in! but i didn't feel *strongly*
about it - our team is now the Pats, no doubt about it, they won us over when
we were in boston. there's just something about the "everyman" attitude of
boston teams and boston fans that we really like............
