can sometimes HELP relieve arthritis pain.  I can't feel finger
flare-ups when I'm out.

Of course the cold weather causes swelling too.

Dear Bonnie,
When I first got arthritis way back in 1992, my family would pack me in
frozen peas every morning just so I could get out of bed.  It must have
looked rather silly, lying in bed with packets of frozen peas around my
legs and the bed clothes on top - but it worked.  Once I was up
exercise got me through the day because to stop meant I would become
stiff - I was scared to sit even for 5mins.  Even after driving the 12
mins home from work my family had to prise my hands off the steering
wheel.
Praise be for our new medications.
Cheers
Gail
