I'm posting to Alzheimers because I personaly would try collodial
silver and/or antibiotics if my father or mother had it. bty my
symptoms are very much like Alzheimers. If the person has severe
inflamation then that would be the sight of the infection and it's
possibly strep A.. Whether this helps alzheimers  I cannot say. good
luck and god bless.

I had a very interesting meeting today with my Infection
Disease Dr. I'll try to sum it up as quick as possible. After going
over my diagnosis', there where 6 of them. Fibromyalgia,Lyme, chronic
fatigue, etc, etc. All of which means i'm going through hell right now.
I'm taking collidal silver now with clyndamycin along with other drugs
such as paxil etc. Our first discussion was that I felt all diseases
where caused by some reaction of the host to some
toxin, virus, bacteria, mold, etc. causing reactive infection or reactive
inflammation. His reply was BINGO. We talked abouth the article in
Time "Inflamation the secret killer" Feb 23 issue. Our discussion went
to the patients he was curing of a multitude diseases. Lou Gherice
Disease, MS, and other diseases I never heard of. We are constantly
being attacked and beaten by these pathogen that have "cloaked"
themselves against our immune system. It's a battlefield out there. I
tried to explain what I have been through, which is difficult. Here is
a good link.

I have nothing in my head except scar tissue. I had my ethmoids,
frontal, and sphenoid sinusitis removed because there was scar tissue
present during my first surgery. I was trying to to save myself from
an Empyema which is a accumulation of pus within a space or cavity
which is caused by a pyogenic organism infection such as Strep pyogene
aka Strep A. It takes years of accumulation for it to be a biofilm.
Treatment is not done until they see it on a CT scan which is INSANE.
By the time the disease is this far mental damage or worse occurs to
the patient. My ID Dr. had to put his License on the line because of
all the antibiotics he was using on me. There is something wrong with
this! I went through dozens of top ID DR's who called lyme and s
pyogenes crazy talk.
Now to the good news... My collodial silver and clyndamycin is
working great. Anyone who thinks silver doesn't work is just ignorant.
I don't mean to be hard but in this day and age the first step to
knowledge is to know you are ignorant. My mom remebers the day they
used silver dollars on babies eyes and umbilical cords, it seems we
forgot our history. To quote "What we have actually done was
rediscover the fact that silver killed bacteria, which had been known
for centuries when antibiotics were discovered, clinical uses for
silver as an antibiotic were discarded." (Dr. Robert O. Becker, M.D."
Silver can be used with over 650 different infections including strep
A, Lyme, toxins, molds, etc. A curad bandage bought from walmart
cleared up a very nasty infection at my IV sight and it is now helping
systemically. Why would I risk Argyria if it was not helping? I
welcome any discussion as to the best one to buy but will not
reccommend any certain company. I use true collodial silver. Not
silver ions, which I believe to be useless. Also Warning: Prolonged
use of Colloidal Silver can lead to a condition known as Argyria, a
graying coloration of the skin. If this should occur try drinking
large quantities of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Also if you get
flu-like symptoms this may be due to the large kill off of organism's.
Due to the fact there is no "resistance" to silver I suggest start
slow and build.
Here is an interesting link for those who think they know
everything. http://morgellons.com/index.html Notice that all people
are told they are delusional. I am very familiar with this situation!
My ID Dr. is currently working with France, Britain, Russia and other
governments because reactive diseases are killing economies. I cannot
even get money from my government to get well. They wait until too
much damage is done then pay for that person the rest of there lives
to live on disability. This is a national crisis, especially do to the
fact few people know Lyme is sexually transmitted and can be passed to
offspring. If it's not an epidemic it soon will be.
If you have strep A which is causing severe arthritis this may
work for you. It can also kill you. Strep fights back antibiotics by
producing more toxins. This is called strep toxic shock syndrome.
google it if you want to learn more. This is a nasty way to go. still
I'd rather go out fighting then slowly waste away and anyway I think I
will make it! Anyone with severe swelling may have strep A. This is a
chronic pathogen mutation of strep throat and "the flesh eating
disease" so the damage will be massive such as as the damage that
rhuematoid arthritis inflicts. We all know my views on "autoimmune
diseases". Reactive diseases can explain cancer, MS, ALZ, ALS, Lyme,
Lou Gherig's Disease and others. More importantly people are being
cured as I type by my ID Dr. and other ID Dr's and Rhumatoid Dr's.
Welcome to the 21'st century. We know the enemies and we have some
weapons. Please do not flame me saying silver is hogwash I will print
hundreds of trials by major universities which will make you look
foolish. fyi. you are what you eat(meat, vegeies, fruit, complex carbs)
and cleanliness is next to Godliness. Once again good luck on your
journey.

Somehow you haven't forgotten where alt.support.alzheimers is.

Dali truly is a broken record.  To newcomers to the group: Dali is a
troll.  His/her posts provide little fact (usually anecdotes) or
references and often digress into caustic name-calling sessions

I agree.

Don't print 100s.  Print powerful, peer-reviewed studies that appear
in recognized journals.  One caveat:  The study must have relevance
otherwise it is off-topic and not appreciated in alt.support.
alzheimers.  Take your theories to the sci.med.* hierarchy to engage

I guess that's me,
Darryl.
(alas, I bite again).

and what do you think causes alzheimers?  not waiting for a response.
silver is used  by the russians in NASA, numerous Hospitals as
catheters, Brigham Young did a study. Curad makes a bandaid, Do you
really want me to start name dropping some more? you will look quite
foolish. if you say silver does not work

It doesn't matter what *I* think causes AD.  You started the thread
and thus the onus is on you to provide references backing up your
claims.

You seem to infer that because colloidal silver has been demonstrated
as a treatment of bacterial infections, that it has some application
in AD.  Brigham Young university, as far as I can see, has not studied
Ag in the context of AD.  This is a very simple statement.

Dali, please provide a reference in which Brigham Young University
speaks of colloidal silver in the treatment of AD.

good point. I expect you to be sceptical. I myself am a sceptical
person. As you already know Brigham Young simply states that yes, over
650 pathogens cannot survive in collodial silver in a test tube. Am I
making a leap to say it can cure Alzheimers? you bet your a.s i am.
BUT. It has saved my life because it is good against strep A. I am
fairly positive that some toxin, virus, bacteria, etc. is at the bottom
of Alzheimers as with any other disease. Is it worth a try? I say YES.
I appreciate your reply Darryl. We should all be skeptical about any
claims. unfortunately collodial silver and antibiotics to cure
Alzhemers is in it's infancy and the best I can do is give anecdotal
evidence.(plus some college trials). MORE needs to be done.
