I noticed this in the trial report:

"Disclosure: Dr. Pasinetti has a patent pending for the use of NIC5-15
in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The patent application was
filed on his behalf by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Pasinetti
and the School of Medicine could benefit financially from the results of
this trial."

But, if money is what it takes, let him have it.  I'd rather
somebody got rich curing Alzheimer's Disease than selling cars
or mortgages.

I just wish the "preliminary findings" in the report told us what
results were actually achieved beyond just "potential to preserve
cognitive performance".
