My husband died in June.  He had fallen and just didn't want to get out
of bed after that.  Had him taken to the hospital and found he had
fractured his elbow.  From there he was taken to a nursing home.  He had
a problem eating so lost weight and kept getting weaker.  He was there
for 6 weeks and then passed away.  The nursing home was nearby so we saw
him every day.  He had been praying for a long time that God would take
him so it was a blessing.  He was 88 yrs. old and we had been married
for 53 yrs. so I do miss him.

That is so sad, Mary.   Do come here from time to time and share a
bit.   It is often a comfort to speak with internet friends who have
been through something similar.
