Does anyone know if this is mandatory in NY to pay time and a half and vacation pay to a live in caregiver, or is this between the employer and the caregiver? Does anyone pay their caregiver those extras? Does anyone pay their caregiver those extras? > Thanks! best thing to do is to go to your state dept of labor website and check what the laws are in your state. some states exempt home caregivers from some parts of state labor laws, some don't. or call you nearest state dept of labor office and ask. |
