I have no first hand knowledge but there was some discussion in the past
about experimenting with the RA drug Enbrel to try and reverse Alzheimer's.
As you probably know dementia is one aspect of Alzheimers but not everyone
with dementia is afflicted with Alzheimer's so I am not sure if the
experiment should be extended to include other types of dementia besides AD.
Look on YouTube using Enbrel and Alzheimer's as your search terms for video
of the experiments. AW

See the links, results of a four year study on the use of arthritis
drugs found they did nothing for dementia, and may even have made it
worse.
