Hello.
hope you can read this....sending it via google cos for 2 months not
had access since my isp dropped this group
just found Evelyns post..
im ok...only bit of whiplash and aching after the accident...Lorna my
girlfriend had a worse impact, because my VW is German, it was her
side that was hit, not the normal UK driving side..luckily the van
being imported from Germany(no salt used on the roads like here, so
was solid and strong didnt incave as they normally do) trouble is, i
had to put down how much i paid for it, i put 80 pence/1 euro, as i
swopped it for the BMW and i didnt know the German word for swopping/
exhanging...so now the ins co only wants to give me that what i
paid....BUT they have now given me a hire camper van but a HUGE new
one, costing the insurance co. 6000 pounds a month about US$12,000
My granddad is fine, we went to visit him week (we had planned to go
on my birthday but no vehicle)..so had to go a few days later..i took
Lorna to see him for the first time, and we took a framed foto...of
me, Lorna and wet Arthur(we was in the park and A had been for a
swim)...he was happy to have it.
While we was there, i saw my mom (shes the nursing home manager) and a
argument took place...but not infront of my granddad.
I had seen him about 10 days before, and he wasnt too well, he was
limping so i asked him what had happend...but this is what he said.
he said, he had gone outside, and noticed that the postman had not put
the mail all the way inside the letterbox of next doors house, so he
bent down to push it through, then fell.said he tripped over
something...forget exactly what he said
i knew that wasnt true...but maybe it HAD happend...some years ago,
while he was living at home as normal...is it possible that something
now happens to him, but he thinks it happened some time ago in his
past? he explained it perfect, his house, next door etc
HI Chuck...i was just telling our lass about you and the biscuits you
like, and that i hate..and she loves them, it seems im the only person
who hates em here!!
I have had no internet for some weeks, today is the first time i have
it at home...was using the local community centre pc.
Ah i have very long blonde hair now...will have to put the foto on my
website we had taken last week (one granddad has)
actually i am the happiest i have been in a v long time (inspite of
the accident etc) i have met the most wonderful girl, i feel i have a
purpose in life, i look forward to getting up each day and i have the
biggest smile on my face! she accepts me for who i am, and treats me
like i havent been treated in years......i couldnt be happier

Actually yes, Jules, you ARE the only person who doesn't like
McVitties Milk Chocolate Digestives. You should join the crowd!
Perhaps you got a bad batch way back.
I'm glad to hear that your Grandfather seems to be doing alright, but
sorry to hear about his leg. I hope it was nothing major.
Did he remember you this time?
I'm also glad to hear that you've found yourself a nice woman. Sounds
like she's also got great taste in snacks!
Take care, and don't be gone for so long!

Jules:
Unfortunately, the article won't come up for me right now.
I'm glad your Grandfather remembered you this time. Hopefully, he was
just having a bad day the time you told us he didn't remember who you
were. I will say that my Aunt, who actually did have alzheimers,
remembered me until the very end.
Take care and stay in touch!
