Not sure. I haven't been posting lately because I tend to respond only when
I have something to add. Its Spring time - maybe people are busy, using the
energy that seems to come on about this time of year.

One kind of sad thing. Had a conversation with an older gentleman at our
synagogue. He was telling me about his farm in NJ back after WWII. He'd get
to the same part of the story, then loop back to the beginning without ever
getting to a point/conclusion, but speaking with the same interest and
passion each time. Did it four times. So sad - he is such a wonderful
person. As for relatives, he only has a daughter who is also a member of the
congregation. She is apparently aware and is alone in dealing with it. I
haven't had the opportunity to talk to her about it.

I'm sure there are patients and caregivers who need to be here.

on vacation at the beach,

Brought along the MIL of course. No other choice. Her 91st birthday was last
week. For someone who does not eat enough to keep a sparrow alive she
remains healthy and seems to mostly enjoy herself during the small amount of
time she stays awake. She travels rather well other than stopping eating and
drinking. Her great-grandkids were taken aback when she would repeatedly ask
each morning to again look at the same book, each time just as fascinated
with it as the day before. They were also shocked at the daily routine we
have to go through to get some food and fluids into her. Welcome to our
world.   AW
