well mom has been having shortness of breath now and irregular heart
beats. The hospice nurse is going to sit by her side at night which I am
grateful for that. I am going down to see mom everyday. she is  at
summerville villa colima----a beautiful place and everyone seems to be
on top of things -----I am very pleased with her assist living situation
and feel comfortable that she is being well taken care of. I think mom's
time is coming close now , and even tho" I kept saying I wish God would
take her I still am not ready to lose her. This has been a very very
long good bye for me.
keep both of us in your prayers as I do not want mom to suffer I hope
she will go peacefully when the time comes. thanks JJ

JJ, I genuinely do hope her passing is gentle and that you are able to
handle it well.

Remember the good times, and remember that release from suffering
is a blessing.

Hospice offers grief counseling.  All you need to do is ask the
hospice nurse and one will visit and assist you through this
passage.

JJ:

I know this feeling.  My own Mother went through some of the same
symptoms.  Then, she pulled out of it, only to die unexpectedly
(probably only unexpectedly by me) at a nursing home where she was
supposed to be temporarily.

It's not easy.  I felt the same way you do, that maybe it would
somehow be better once it's over.  It wasn't.  For a while, it felt a
lot worse.  It's been just over six years and I still think about her
all the time.

You've done everything you can and it sounds like you got your Mother
into a good place.  It's out of your hands now.

I hope it is peaceful for her.
