Jules - 15 May 2007 18:01 GMT Saw him again at the weekend, hes fine, spent some time with him, along with Arthur
The week before we sat outside for a while, it was a nice day so Arthur ran around and looked for cats.
Only thing i have noticed where hes getting worse is, he will say its nice weather for the time of the year...i ask him and he things its Jan or Feb, ok i can understand that hes in a home, same thing each day, not like when he was at home doing his own thing....
Hes always so happy to see me and the dog, little A always runs ahead looking for him with a smile on his face as soon as i open the door, he looks in the living room, or if not there, straight to his room
they are always happy together

Great to hear from you, man!
I'm glad to hear that your Grandfather seems to at least be holding relatively steady and that he got to see you and Arthur!
It sounds like the trip was decent also, and that's great. I have to say I was wondering what had happened to you. I saw nothing in the group for weeks from you. Glad to hear things are going reasonably well.
Hey... I thought about you the other day as I was purchasing a role of McVitties Milk Chocolate Digestives from a little British shop near where I live! :-) I also got a couple of candy bars. I have no idea why they seem to taste better when they come from Europe!
Great to hear from you!

Whealton > Charles Whealton @ pleasedontspam.com Hey Chuck, the trip iteself was good, had a nice 2 weeks but coming back a week early was a pain...let me know what you think to the fotos!
Great weather, great food, great vodka and a great time.
Granddad always seems happy, which i like, and he is always happy to see me and the dog, and hes eating well...
Also under the new European food law, they are banning McVitties Milk Chocolate Digestives, as they the shape is wrong, they would have been ok if they made them square, but they wont, so from July they are no more!! It seems, they say if someone opens the packet while on the street, if one falls to the ground, it could roll down a hill and cause a big car crash.....and 'oh crumbs' that wouldnt be good would it haaaaaaaaa only joking, still dont like them myself...

How's it going! I checked out some of the photos (Berlin), and they were great. I'll have to check them out some more later. I'm traveling on business and the Internet access at this hotel is the absolute worst I've ever had. You could do better parking your vehicle next to an open access point (which I wouldn't do).

I have managed to get my granddad a pretty simple dvd player, just need to get a digicam so i can take some movies, burn them to disk when i am over there and so he can see me and the dog drinking good german beer, in the good weather with a hot german chick on my arm (and a nice german boy dog for Arthur) :-)
