This theory claims that a brain is like a muscle, and that old people
tend to turn away from
things that were once easy and are now hard. As the simplest of brain
functions become
hard, the person stops doing those tasks, in a way block from tasks.
In this theory the brain is viewed as muscle, that when not used
shrinks, but can grow
back. Experiments showed that brain tissue does grow, contrary to old
belief that we
are born with a set number of braincells.
Body builder steroids attribute agression and all blocks are
unblocked. The brain gains
activity in all areas and growth is sparked, however those on steroids
can develop
out of control behaviors. It is the idea that growth can be sparked
and blocks, fears
can be removed is what I am proposing.
It is weakness that comes with senility that takes a man or woman with
Alzheimer's,
in a way a person becomes old, and in many cases at an early age.
Perhaps the
original cause is neural damage, but with excercize health can be
brought back.
