..attending an 'interview' tomorrow where I think the social services are
going to try and get us to pay for my dads care, even though as far as I
understand the law clearly states they should be paying in his case.
Hopefully they are just trying it on. Will see what happens, it could get
all legal.

Hi Tumbleweed,

Good luck, and I hope all goes well for you.   When we had to go through all
the various paperwork and such for my MIL, we had our elder law attorney
help us.   By then we were both so emotionally and physically drained from
caring for her, that we would have probably needed help knowing our own
names!
