I am part of a group helping to start a company focused on helping
caregivers. I am looking for willing caregivers to help us by
answering a few survey type of questions on the phone for upto 10
minutes.
Thank you.
Details:
The business' product is a web-based application whose end-users will
be people who have suffered a traumatic life event, such as cancer
diagnosis, as well as their social network of friends and family on
whom they will be forced to depend. The benefit of the product is
largely based on the idea of facilitating more and better communication
between the patient and their support system. The need this product
works to satisfy is the infinite amount of emotional support a patient
can use to help him/her overcome fears, and remain positive. It hopes
to maximize the energy provided by communication with loved ones, which
can be infinitely helpful in speeding recovery. While cancer patients
will certainly make up a large portion of target users, the product
will be equally beneficial to people with other debilitating diseases
or injuries.
The proposed business model is unique in that it is structured for the
product to be offered free of charge to end-users, in perpetuity. The
founder is adamant that however the business plan changes from now
until launch, end-users will incur no financial expense. Also, the cost
to organizations such as yours will be very small when compared to the
potential value introduced. Costs to you would involve one-time
expenses for possible implementation charges. These transactions are
not the basis for revenue generation for the company.
The business model and product are unique, and they truly provide value
to all parties involved. I am finding that this combination is
difficult to achieve and is perhaps the ultimate recipe for "success",
spiritually, emotionally, and financially. I would love the opportunity
to share more information with you.
The immediate need I have is help in gaining efficient access to
potential end-users, in order to conduct non-demanding, no-commitment
interviews, with the goal of further defining customer needs and
focusing the link between needs and potential benefits. I would
appreciate any ideas you have about how I might efficiently gather
interviews.

I am really sorry that you considered my post as spam. I hate
spam very much as well. Hence, a strong shot of apologies.
Our intentions are noble ... we are trying to find ways to create
something that is meaningful to people and something that brings
families and friends close in their time of need.
In order to get it right, we must speak with some experts and some
people who are, or who have gone through the experience of being
a caregiver.
Any suggestions would help us a lot, in helping others.
