Thought this would be of interest to us caregivers dealing with Alzheimer's
in our LO.

Not a "cure" but looks to be a new treatment to relieve memory lapses
in the Uch-L1 protein.

An interesting article.

My reading of it is that what the authors have done is advanced
the basic research towards an understanding of the molecular
basis of the disease.  I'm no expert, but I'd be a little surprised
if any treatment comes directly from this.

This kind of research won't help our parents.  It may not help
us.  But it will be of great benefit to our children.  I'm all for it.

Hi Alan. Yes at least they appear to be closing in and just maybe our
grandkids can reap the rewards.
