FLURIZANT (MPC-7869)
saw a report on television here in the states, this looks promising. Any
have any dealings with it yet? I know its still in clinical trial, but the
report that I saw looked good. Unfortunately, my mom is not eligible for
the trial because she is in a health care facility (nursing home). It just
makes me want to cry every time I get to see her, seeing that she is going
downhill rapidly from AD.
here is a link for the clinical trial on the stuff. Good luck if you can
get in, and God bless all of you that are stricken with this damn disease.

Keith in Florida
ps.... the report stated that conventional AD drugs on attack the symptoms,
this is supposed to attack the cause.

i hope that you realize that because it's a double-blind trial
with a placebo, so even if your mother was in the trial there's a
(usually 50%) chance that she would get the placebo and neither
you nor the doc would know which it was.

Its a starting point for somebody Keith and with each new drug trial
somehow somewhere one day It may prove to be effective, fingers
crossed.I like you get upset with my mums decline when I visit,I try to
search back in my memory for the happy times I find myself reminiscing
quite a lot lately or one of Mums sayings might come to mind.Strange
really because for most part of my life we did not get on that well.
