We are in the land of Lower And Uppercase, which is much more pleasant to

I see it as good news when things get quiet here, since we all tend to
turn here first when the fat hits the fire. (I know I do!) So I am
assuming everyone is relatively well, LOs being cared for, weather
behaving itself as well as can be expected, etc., etc., etc.

Yes, that is probably true :-)

I will be posting very little in the next couple of weeks if at all.   I am
headed off to Texas to see my grandkids, and of course my daughter.    First
vacation the two of us have had together since before Ida became ill.   It
will be wonderful to go together!

Same from me!!!! Have a blast!

Things have been a little tense here but just got better. The company Doug
works for is having cash flow problems, with delays in getting paid. But
Doug just accepted an offer at another software company. Small raise (about
$150/month) but the company is far more stable. He starts at the end of the
month.

Have a grand time!  This is a wonderful time to get away - you'll be back in
time to welcome spring.  Ruth

Thank you so much Gwen!  I am looking forward to both of us actually getting
away at the same time, and sharing a vacation.   For the last 6 years, you
all know what we have been busy with!

First it was Ida then I had a broken shoulder, and finally now we are going
to get that long needed vacation.   I hope I will be in Texas in time to see
the Bluebonnets and wild flower season!   It is just so beautiful there at
that time of year.

We'll get back and still have some of winter left around here, but getting a
breath of warm Texas weather will be nice.     My grandsons are going to be
graduating high school this spring too.  I will miss the newsgroups for that
couple of weeks, but may be able to get my email from my daughter's computer
from time to time.

Ronny:
I don't recall giving you permission to come to Texas! :-) LoL Hope you
have a great time when you do though! :-)

Not sure if you will get to see any bluebonnets though? :-( According to
how far down in Texas you'll be? Do hope though that the daffodils will
be opening up when you're here! :-) Some of mine are up 1 to several
inches tall and have bloom stalks on them that I can see some yellow in!
:-) So it won't be long until they open. And I have a few narcissus that
have been blooming for about 3 weeks now.

P.S.
And remember, when you get back to Texas you have to start saying things
like y'all and fixin' to! LoL

Hi Ronny,

Yep, I'm "fixin" to go to Lago Vista, just outside of Austin in the hill
country.   I'll be seein' y'all again when I get back!   :-)

Thanks for the good wishes.   I am leaving on Saturday, and most likely will
not be doing newsgroups.

Ronny:
You're welcome. :-)

Should of put this in here sooner to be sure you would get to see it
before you left. But looked up Lago Vista online yesterday. Now that
would be a beautiful place to visit even if you didn't have family
there! :-)
