As you all know I moved Mum closer to us at home due to issues with the
home she was in.
This was last Wed 4th.It is now Fri 6th 5-20 am in Oz
That was a big day and as I had worked the 5 days previous I found the
anxiety associated with the move and the move left me totally exhausted
that night.
On the day Mum appeared angry round about lunchtime in the new dining
room but said nothing she rarely does. She seemed calmer in the
afternoon but of course I didnt sleep well feeling ,well guilty I guess
that I had removed her from what she had called home,I think Dad may
have felt the same.
I bought 2 suitcases of mums clothes and belongings back home to have a
good sort through,
thats all done now and her wardrobe is freshly stocked.
When I visited a short while yesterday she seemed ok it is so hard to
judge with mum choosing rarely to speak, but I know she has always loved
Bananas bought some and gave her one "beautiful" she said
I left with a quick chat to the Clinical nurse who said Mum had slept
well and straight through the night. She has not started wandering here
Yet?
Fingers crossed for a smooth transition

Hi Michelle
That is really great news, I bet you are relieved?
Now you can perhaps have that sleep you have been needing so badly?
