Why was See Me Foundation 501c3 created?????

Here's why

See Me Foundation is building a Alzheimer's/Dementia Day/Respite Care
Center. The first and only in Arkansas. The facility will be located in
Marshall, Arkansas. We are hoping that other US states and other
Arkansas Counties will join our foundation under our 501c3 non profit
status and create similiar facilities. This FIRST facility will offer
support to Boone, Searcy, and Stone counties of Arkansas.

As a result of the demanding and emotional work, caregivers tend to
suffer clinical depression and anxiety more often than the general
population. A substantial percentage of caregivers-as many as fifty
percent-experience depressive symptoms severe enough to call for
treatment. Respite care can provide you with a scheduled period of
relief from the demanding responsibilities of caring for a person
with dementia. For periods ranging from a few hours or a few weeks,
another person can tend to the needs of the patient, leaving you free
to handle other responsibilities or to simply recuperate and
experience some rest and relaxation. To join email see_me_foundation-

My staff are seeking donations, $1 to one million, for the funding of
the only Arkansas Alzheimer's/Dementia Day/Respite Care Home in
Arkansas. The Arkansas Health Services is 100% behind us and will
assist in anyway possible. The problem is funds for a facility. A
8/10's of an acre has been donated with a 10 year lease at $500 a
year in Marshall, Arkansas where a manufactured home meeting State
Inspector Maynard Vogelsesang approval. There will be 9 hospital
beds made available at the home for one to two week respite care for
24/7 caregivers. The facility must meet several requirements.
Businesses (WalMart, Sam's Club, JC Penney, Sears, etc.) have been
sent a letters requesting large donations. Our needs are great but
the facility is a far greater need for caregivers.

There will be no television. Instead there will be arts and crafts,
day trips, visitors with animals, children from local groups. The
A/D residents will be treated with respect and kindness.

Any cash donations no matter how small should be made by check or
money order made payable to See Me Foundation and mailed to the PO
Box 1133. Marshall, AR 72650. Any tangible, quality items for a
Spring Raffle please email a detailed description to our See Me PO
box.
