but I had a very good day

it's 5:23 a.m. here....   had a day OFF today.... spent time with both kids;
bought them groceries and stuff ....and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

SIL had ma ...  bad day for her; she had the runs for the second time this
week .... sucks to be her (SIL; ma couldn't care less LOL) .. .that'll teach
her to not answer her phone when I need her to help ME out  - the other day
I tried to call her for well over an hour... wanted her to pick up gloves at
hubby's store and drop them off here but SHE wasn't available. Today she
called ME to pick up more depends...which I was more than willing to do, but
shucks darn, I was away and wouldn't be home for hours yet.

Have I mentioned that I FINALLY have been offered more hours at work?
Starting in January ... not only will I be teaching more, but I'll also have
an office, a phone number, a mailbox AND a name tag! I am SO happy about
that :)

Plus I found out that I qualify for a pension plan - memo that I shoulda'
got last Dec. FINALLY made it to me ...

things are looking up :)

Aside from WAY too many issues around her bowels, MIL is doing quite well,
also .....  she's on Respirdol day and night now and aside from a few hours
of ~sundowning~ behaviours (aka persisting in removing her clothing,
invading people's personal space, and being a total pain) .... and my
schedule right now means that I'm not always the one dealing with it all!
....she's generally a lot more pleasant, calm, etc.... and she sleeps thru
the night which has made a HUGE difference.

Still no news re: placement ... the ~joys~ of small towns ... only 3 places,
and not much movement! But in the meantime we're coping

And now, I think, it is bedtime!

Lee, congrratulations on the more hours in January and the perks that go
along with it.  Will keep hoping for placement and more improvement for
all
of you.
