Slept 2 hours last night and woke up. Have had some things bugging me
for a few weeks, plus, some nice things to think about too. So my mind is
sort of over busy right now! LoL And I know one of my brothers and his
wife is coming to visit sometime right before noon today and here it is
5:30am. Got to get back to sleep for awhile. One nice thing,I can go
ahead and give Mom her morning meds now-not to early for that and the
main one is the one that helps keep her calm! :-) Think I will finish my
nap out on my recliner.

Pulled a stupid stunt this week when I went to town-didn't get my books
and I think I've read everything in the house- some a lot more than
twice! LoL Now and then I usually drop by Goodwill when going shopping
and fairly quickly pick up 2 to 5 books. Great bargains too at .50 cents
each! :-) And that makes me happy. Perhaps because I'm part Scot?! LoL
And I have found so many good books at Goodwill-many by authors I would
of never known about if not for finding their books there. And it's
always nice to find a good book by an author I never knew of before! :-)

Better go for now-think I can get to sleep in a bit if I just stick my
feet up in my recliner! LoL

When you live with an AD family member, your whole life..or lack
of...is affected by AD.

BTW, the T B, how are any of your posts that I've seen thus far relate
to anything here?

I suspect by the initials TB you're replying to an in-duh-vidual that I've
kill-filled because I'm not seeing an original post.  "Block Sender" is such
a lovely feature.

Even when the family member that has AD is in an ALF, it's amazing how much
of your life is impacted.  My sis couldn't believe we go visit my MIL every
week, I tried explaining about inventories of personal care items, checking
clothes, making sure the bras still fit without being too tight, make sure
the diaper rash isn't recurring and so forth.  My MIL is in a very good
facility and it takes the caregivers and us to make sure something doesn't
get missed.  I pity the people that no one ever comes to visit.  The
caregivers try to pay close attention, but they have quite a few to pay
attention to.
