Sometimes it happens.  I don't think there is a way of deleting the
duplicate, but it is a common glitch on newsgroups, so don't worry about it.

To clarify (for the original poster) there is no owner/manager. Messages stay
there forever or until .... I think there's likely to be an age after which
messages are....?

Ronny:
The first time that happens you only get beat about the head a bit. :-)
But the second time,oh,you don't want to know what horrible things will
happen to you if you do such a second time! LoL

Is there anyway for individuals to put this poster on ignore?
Gwen Love - 10 Sep 2005 23:50 GMT
I have him stopped on my computer.  On Outlook Express, go to Message on top
line and click on block sender.

It's the same if you are using Outlook.

Yes.  If you are using outlook express, first open the offending post, then
click on message and go down to block sender and click on it.   Poof!  No
more offensive poster.

I think it can also be done without opening the post.   You highlight it
with a single click, then go to message and then to block sender.   Same
thing.
