I got my first ripe tomatoes of the year last Friday or Saturday-off of
the two plants I have in the yard,in a little 4x4 foot planter bed. :-)
I've not been caring for them much, doing otherthings;but decided I
better care for them better now. So got them watered and mulched good
with old hay on Saturday. Hasn't rained all that much here this spring
and I knew they could use some water. Good tasting tomatoes and Mom and
I have both enjoyed them-even though one small one somehow ended up in
her glass of milk the other day! :-) LoL Looking forward to more good
tomatoes. Some are nearly ripe, many green ones on those two plants and
some blooms can be seen as well.:-)

Ronny, you're making me hungry.  I don't often get good home grown tomatoes,
and I do love a good tomato sandwich.  When you have too many, how about
slipping me one through the computer!

Oh my Ronny!  Nothing is so good as a real home grown tomato!
Yummy.

My Mom's neighbor brought us some just off the vine home grown tomatoes this
evening.  They were delicious!

you're still way ahead of me... although we've had SO much rain that my
tomato plants are doing great .... still several weeks away from actual
fruit though!

here in alaska, no blossoms, but the plant is growing like crazy.
no greenhouse, so am using the front porch.  nights in this
marine climate are too cool for tomatoes without a greenhouse.
