I didn't know this until my daughter told me....There is a 5 day respite
care, A doctor orders it. I don't know how it works but believe its
part of medicare. I asked my DR. about it. She said there was this 5
day thing ...I didn't ask more than that because I knew I needed more
than 5 days to recoup.
Has anyone heard of it or availed themseves of it? Seems, if this is
so, we could last a lot longer at this job...

Florence, I have never heard of it, but then Grayson has been dead for four
years. It could have become available since then. Or it could have been
available and I just never knew about it. Sorry.

Actually I remember hearing something about it once too, but it is only
available once, and they have all the same admissions criteria as when you
are going to place them.
